Meetings and Events at the Museum of East Asian Art
In the heart of Skeppsholmen, surrounded by Stockholm’s waterways and historic sites, lies the Museum of Far Eastern Art—an inspiring venue for meetings, dinners, and events. Here, the Skeppsholmsgruppen offers unique opportunities to host everything from conferences and corporate events to private dinners and festive gatherings.
The Beijing and Tyghuset venues combine cultural history, a personal atmosphere, and culinary experiences. Whether you’re planning a small meeting or a larger gathering, we’ll help you create a memorable event with a focus on food, drinks, and hospitality.
The Fabric Store
– Asian flavors and events at the Museum of East Asian Art
We at the Skeppsholmsgruppen run Tyghuset, a café serving Asian cuisine in the heart of the Museum of East Asian Art. Everyone is welcome here during the day to enjoy artisanal sushi and other Asian dishes in a setting where history, art, and food come together. Take a seat with us or order takeout and enjoy your meal on the go.
When the museum is closed, you can book Tyghuset along with large parts of the museum for private parties, corporate events, dinners, and receptions. There is room here for up to 250 guests to mingle in one of Stockholm’s most culturally and historically significant settings.
At Skeppsholmsgruppen, we tailor your event with food, drinks, and personalized service. Together with our catering kitchen, we create a menu based on your preferences—whether you’re looking for Asian flavors or a completely different culinary style.
Beijing
With its 104 square meters and space for up to 85 people, Beijing can be adapted to accommodate both small and large groups. The venue is located on the ground floor next to the museum’s library and offers a secluded setting that’s ideal for inspiring meetings. It also features conference technology and the option to complement your event with food and beverages from the Skeppsholmsgruppen.
